Investment Rationale
The business unit economics of the region, combined with Rappi’s multi-vertical approach, gives them an edge over traditional delivery players in developed countries. We believe there’s a huge opportunity to grow their Latam Fintech offering, in a banking underserved region through their Rappi Pay & Card solutions.
Rappi has done a good job in engaging high-value customers through its Prime Program. The founders’ strategy and push for high-value customers and repeat orders are aligned with our vision for value creation in a Super app. We believe the company has the infrastructure and reach to become the number one everyday needs service provider in a highly fragmented market.
